The Toyota Prado comes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), which is standard across the Prado range. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) controls braking force to each individual wheel, depending on conditions and load distribution, helping to prevent skidding to ensure the car stops in the shortest distance possible. This helps ensure that you can come to a standstill in the safest way possible, even on slippery or uneven surfaces.

Back Monitor is a Reversing Camera, projects an image of the area behind the vehicle onto the audio display helping to make reversing and parking easier and safer.

Vehicle Stability Control helps your Prado to hold its direction through a corner by dampening understeer and over steer, and automatically adjusting the engine power and braking force to each wheel individually.

SRS airbags contribute to driver and passenger safety by helping to minimize impact force in certain types of collisions. Ample features include SRS curtain-shield airbags that cover all three rows of seats in a severe side collision. An SRS knee airbag is also available for the driver, which assists the seatbelt function and bolsters protection by restraining the lower body (mainly the knees).
